Karon Beach – 8 January 2005 (early morning)

9 January – Bright enough day, but quite a lot of clouds, not so much sunshine. Windy at times. Cooler 29 – 30 C. Some light waves at the beaches.

10 January – Bright morning, but very cloudy and windy. Becoming less cloudy, less windy and sunnier by late morning. Hot 31 C. Calm at the beaches.

11 January – Bright sunny day, some light haze in the upper sky. Windy day. Hot 31 C. A light swell at the beaches.

12 & 13 January – Bright days, with mixed clouds and sun. Cloudier mornings and sunnier afternoons. Morning cool 29 C. Afternoon warm 31 C. Very winds. Choppy sea and some light waves at the beach.

14 – 16 January – Very bright days, mostly all sunshine. Not much wind. Very hot 32 C. Calm at the beaches
