2 December – Overcast day, no direct sunlight. Some very light rain from time to time. Not much wind. Medium 29 C. Calm at the beaches.

3 December – Bright day, cloudy but with some patches of sun. Always chance of few spots of rain during the morning. Light rain shower about 17.00. Light wind. Medium 30 C. Calm at the beaches.

4 December – Bright day, mixed sun & clouds. Always the chance of a few spots of rain. Lovely late afternoon sunset (which I enjoyed with a sun downer looking over Kata Bay). Not much wind. Warm 31 C. Calm at the beaches.

5 December – Mostly a bright day, with mixed sun & clouds. Darker clouds rolled in about 11.00 bringing scattered heavy rain showers for a few minutes. Afternoon back to mixed sun & clouds. Light wind. Warm 30 – 31 C. Almost calm at the beaches.

6 December – Bright day, with mixed sun & clouds. More sun than cloud in the morning, becoming cloudier later in the afternoon. Warm 31 – 32 C. Near calm at the beaches.

7 December – Cloudy day, some sunshine filtering through the cloud base during the morning. Cloudier afternoon. Quite windy. Medium 30 C. Light waves at the beaches.

8 December – Cloudy morning, windy at times. Less cloudy in the afternoon with some sunshine filtering through the clouds. Medium 30 C. Light waves.

9 December – Very cloudy day, with persistent light rain most of the morning and some of the afternoon. Windy at times. Cool 27 – 29 C. Light waves at the beaches. Heavy overnight rain showers.

10 December – Very cloudy day, with some rain showers rushing through about mid-day. Afternoon continues with lighter clouds. Cool 27 – 29 C. Calm at the beaches.

11 December – Bright sunny morning, with some light clouds. Becoming cloudier in the afternoon, with plenty of sun filtering through the light clouds. Warm 31 C. Calm at the beaches.

12 December – Bright, but cloudy day. Morning with some weak sunshine filtering through the clouds. Afternoon with much stronger sunshine poking through the clouds. Warm 30 C. Near calm at the beaches.

13 December – Cloudy day, no sunshine at all. Always the chance of some drops of rain. Becoming very dull by 16.00 leading to persistent light rain. Medium 28 – 30 C. Not much wind. Calm at the beaches.

14 December – Very cloudy day, occasional glimpses of blue sky mid morning. Becoming darker late afternoon, leading to a heavy rain shower for 20 minutes. Windy at times. Medium 29 – 30 C. Calm at the beaches.

15 December – Horrible day. Very overcast & thick low cloud base. Persistent rain all day. Cool 26 C. Calm at the beaches.

16 December – Very windy day. Morning with thick cloud base and persistent light rain. Afternoon slightly brighter with only spots of rain from time to time early afternoon. More persistent rain after 16.00. Cool 26 C. Light waves at the beaches.

17 December – Calmer day. Very cloudy early morning, with some light rain. By afternoon some sunshine filtering through the clouds. By 16.00 quite strong sun t be seen through light cloud base. Quite a nice sunset. Medium 30 C. Light/medium swell at the beaches.

18 December – Brighter day, with a light cloud layer. Some sunshine filtering through most of the day. Some spots of rain. Light winds. Medium 29 C. Light swell at the beaches.

19 December – Bright early morning, cloud base starting to beak up. By 11.00 blue skies with scattered light clouds. Very windy. Medium 30 C (but feeling warmer in the sun). Light swell rolling onto the beaches.

20 December – Lovely sunny day, with blue skies and some scattered clouds. Very gusty winds. Warm 31 C. Light swell at the beaches. Becoming a little hazy over the sea late afternoon.

21 December – Bright sunny day, blue skies with some light scattered clouds. Gusty winds. Warm 31 C. Light swell at the beaches.

22 December – Cloudy day, with very gusty winds. Cool 27 C. Seas becoming quite choppy from all the wind. Few spots of rain very late afternoon for a short time. Light waves.
