3 April – Bright sunny day, some scattered clouds. No wind. Hot 32 - 33 C. Medium swell off the beaches resulting in a light surf at some places.

4 April – Cloudy day, becoming quite dull by afternoon. Some light rain about 15.30 for 30 minutes. Becoming sunny after the rain passed. Warm 32 – 34 C. Swell continues, bringing breaking waves at some places on the beaches.

5 April – Bright sunny day. Some haze in the sky. Very warm 32 – 34 C. No wind. Light swell at the beaches.

6 & 7 April – Another bright sunny day, with clear skies. Very warm 32 – 34 C. Now very calm at the beaches.

8 April – Bright sunny start to the day, but becoming rather cloudy and dull by 11.00. Looked like a lot of rain coming but no rain and the afternoon brightened up again by 14.00. Very humid, 32 – 34 C. Sea at the beach becoming quite choppy.

9 April – Mixed sun & clouds, dark clouds at times. Humid 32 – 34 C. Heavy rain shower late evening about 23.00. Light waves at the beaches.

10 April – Mixed sun & clouds, with more clouds than sun for much of the day. Humid 32 – 34C. Windy later in afternoon, with darker clouds. Light waves at the beaches.

11 April – Overnight light rain, continuing into the early morning. Very cloudy morning, becoming quite sunny by early afternoon. Very mixed day. Light waves at the beaches. Warm 31 – 33C.

24 April – Light overcast morning, blocking out most of the sunshine. A short & light rain shower about 14.00, then skies clearing bringing some weak sunshine. No wind. Humid 31 – 33 C. Very calm at the beaches.

27 April – Much the same as the previous few days, overcast morning with some weak sunshine. Loud thunder clap about mid-day, darker skies and eventually a medium rain shower for about 20 minutes. Rest of the afternoon had mixed sun & clouds. Humid 31 – 33 C. No wind and calm at the beaches.
